YouTube’s Trust & Safety team plays a vital role in keeping the platform safe, creative, and welcoming for over 2 billion users around the globe. As a Content Specialist based in Hyderabad, you’ll be on the frontlines of protecting users, reviewing controversial and sensitive content, and ensuring that YouTube’s Community Guidelines are upheld.

About the Team:

You’ll join a dedicated group within YouTube’s Trust & Safety team that works closely with global enforcement operations, legal teams, data analysts, and content policy experts. The team focuses on controversial content, including violence, cybercrime, misinformation, and other abuse categories—ensuring that platform safety evolves with cultural, legal, and societal shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review potentially violative and graphic content aligned with YouTube's content policies.
• Assess escalated video content issues and coordinate appropriate responses.
• Contribute to enforcement quality through analysis and communication of policy gaps or challenges.
• Work with internal tools and data to identify trends, recurring issues, and potential improvements.
• Participate in testing new processes or tools and provide actionable feedback.
• Collaborate across policy, legal, and operational teams to refine community standards.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
